Extended Day Program

Allen Academy's Extended Day Program is a service available to all Allen parents to bridge the gap between school hours and parent working hours. Allen Academy takes pride in offering a quality alternative for after-school care by providing the Extended Day program on the premises of Allen Academy. Parents can choose from full-time (every school day), part-time (only selected school days), or drop-in (as needed).

Hours

The Allen Academy Extended Day hours of operation are:

• Preschool I: 12:45 - 5:30 p.m.
• Pre-K II & Kindergarten: 3:00 - 5:30 p.m.
• Lower School: 3:15 - 5:30 p.m.
• Middle Schol: 3:30 - 5:30 p.m.

Fees

The fees are as follows:

• Full-Time PK I — $3,420
• Part-Time PK I — $7.75 per hour, maximum $380
• Full-Time PK II – 8th Grade — $1,440
• Part-Time PK II – 8th Grade — $7.75 per hour, maximum $160

Other Information

• Charges for Allen Extended Day services will be included on your monthly bill. Annual charges will be billed in 10 installments August-May.
• Parents please note that you will be charged $1.00 per minute for the amount of time that your child remains beyond the 5:30 p.m. closing time.
• Extended Day Services will not be offered during student holidays.
• Families may start, stop, or switch between the full-time and part-time programs with a written request to the Business Office. Applicable charges will be prorated to the date of request. A $45 administrative fee may apply.
