Preschool

At Allen Academy our preschool program is focused on learning. We provide a well-rounded,challenging program designed to prepare your child to thrive in school in the years to come.Our students have fun, but we also want them to grow cognitively, physically, emotionally andsocially in a loving atmosphere.

We place a strong emphasis upon the uniqueness of each child in order that they may learn tovalue others in the same way. Children learn the basics of cooperating, sharing, following simpledirections and self-acceptance.

The Preschool program provides an environment where children are encouraged to be children.Play becomes the tool for learning in a warm and loving atmosphere that nurtures the child's totalgrowth and development. Allen nurtures a love of learning by inviting students to participate andgrow through age- and maturity-appropriate tasks, games, and objectives.

• CENTER TIME: at each center, students explore thematic concepts, art, and skill-building with the help of our talented teachers.
• AUXILIARIES: we provide Spanish, music, library and P.E. time.MATH: Allen combines math with music and movement.
• LANGUAGE/SCIENCE/SOCIAL STUDIES: we incorporate literature, thinking skillsand vocabulary.
• STORYTIME: During this wrap-up time, we review the lessons of the day and read astory
