Alumni

Allen has had many different faces over the past 125 years and has just as many assorted former students. You are an important part of the Allen Academy community - whether you attended the school for a year or whether you graduated here! This community thrives by upholding the vision of our founders and all the students who have benefitted from their Allen Academy education. We encourage you to become active and to participate in upcoming Allen Academy Former Student Association (AAFSA) events. We have established a Facebook Group for former students in an effort to facilitate communication and the notification of upcoming events. AAFSA also develops opportunities for Allen Academy to celebrate our unique and varied history, encourage volunteer service to the school, furnish financial support in conjunction with the Head of School, strengthen a sense of Allen pride by advocating for the school both within and outside of our community, and develop and encourage participation of the alumni in key aspects of school life.

We would also like your assistance in completing an updated Alumni registry and mailing list. It is our goal to be able to publish an alumni directory and to assist in alumni event planning. With the 125th anniversary of Allen coming up in 2011, we would like to get as many alumni together as possible. Allen has meant many different things to many different people and we would like to see the passion for the school reunite as many former students as possible.
