Allen Academy Football

Allen Academy offers six-man football at the varsity and middle school levels. Six-man football tends to be an exciting and usually high scoring event which is fun to watch and play. Six-man football is played on a field that is 40 yards wide and 80 yards long. There is so much offensive action in six-man football that teams are required to advance the football at least fifteen yards for a first down. Typically there are three men on the line of scrimmage and three in the backfield, but in six-man you are likely to see a range of variations in both offensive and defensive formations. When a quarterback drops back to pass in six-man, he may be twenty yards or more behind the line of scrimmage.

At Allen Academy, we have a new state-of-the-art artificial turf field.  And yes, it is a full-size (100 yard) field. It has separate markings for six-man football as well as for soccer.
