Good day to whoever is reading this.  We had a fun-filled day in the 4th grade today!  The day started in Mrs. Buckland’s science/math class.  We had loads of fun there.  We used the internet to forecast the weather and wrote it down in our science journals.  Samuel and Ashley presented the forecast to the class.  They were graded on how well they did.  I can’t wait to get up there eventually.

In math, we finished a packet of math review problems.   Next, we had advisory time.  We talked about bullies.  Kids were paired up and were given an article about bullying.  After they read the article, they were supposed to write about 3 things they learned about bullying.  Next, we were allowed to share what we wrote.  Can you believe that 39% of kids don’t feel safe going to school?  That’s almost half the kids going to school!  So, if we have 16 kids in 4th grade, 6 of them would not feel safe going to school.  After advisory, we went back to Mrs. Buckland’s room and read until it was time to go to recess.

At recess, we had a blast!  After we had drained our energy, we went to lunch and had some good food.  We filled up and went to music.  At music, almost everybody got their red belt today.  Some people even got their blue belt.  I could tell everyone was so proud of their classmates.  When we got back, we went to Mrs. St. Clair’s class.  You could tell she wasn’t feeling 100%, but she was still teaching us.  We had our spelling test today.  I could tell people had studied very hard.  After that, we studied social studies.  We had to spell all the names of the northeastern states.  Then we got packed up to go to Spanish.  There, we played a game to see who had studied their vocabulary.  After a rockin’ class in Spanish, we had to leave.  We got back to the classroom and left to go home.  There were some clubs after school today, including the Fitness Club.  Many students have joined the Fitness Club.  After Fitness Club, all the kids went home.  That was the end of our fun-filled day.
