Media Madness

Fourth and fifth grade students are continuing to create Core Value Posters using Microsoft Publisher. As they work in their groups, students have collaborated on each digital image pose, as well as using the cameras to capture the perfect representation of each core value. This project has definitely solidified the core value of cooperation as they work together to illustrate each aspect of Allen's Core Values.

Students in second and third grade are finishing up on their Word Art Acrostic Poems.  They have enjoyed exploring the use of different fonts and styles, along with sharing their ideas with their peers.

Kindergarten and first graders investigated online interactive games to practice using their laptop mouse pads.  During instruction, students learned the functions and strategies for effectively using the mouse pad.
