Around the World

What's a better way to practice our math facts than going Around the World! To get our brains in "math mode" each day, we play a quick game with our facts. Two students compete to answer a problem first. The first to answer correctly moves to the next person and then they compete. The goal is to move around the room by answering math facts quickly. So far, it is one of their favorite games that we play! I've told them to make it their personal goal to move one chair past where they moved yesterday. Today, there were four math smarties who moved farther!! Watch out multiplication...we're getting ready for you!!
