Biome Pie Chart

Students wanted to know which type of biome our Lower School students would want to visit, if they had the chance to take a special vacation.  Students conducted a survey in K-5th grade and recorded the results.  Upon gathering the data, students then created a table where they converted the tallies to percentages.  Our fourth graders agreed that they thought we could best represent this data by creating a pie chart which would analyze categories (biomes) and groups (grade levels).  Using protractors, students then determined the degree in which each percentage should be graphed.  Our fourth graders tackled this task with confidence and enthusiasm!  Don't miss our upcoming results displayed in the hallway outside of LS-8!
