Allen athletes start concussion protection program

Concussions are a serious issue in competitive athletics, and this year, Allen Academy has implemented a program to help identify early signs of concussions. Using a new online test called imPACT, or Immediate Post-Concussion Assessment and Cognitive Testing, the school now has a brain-functioning baseline for each athlete. Using this baseline, the school can now identify when students may have suffered a concussion while playing a sport.
