Allen Academy Theater Presents...

Allen Academy presents the stage adaptation of Alfred Hitchcock’s The 39 Steps on Friday, November 4^th and Saturday, November 5^th at 7:00 PM at the Wakefield Activity Center at Allen Academy.  This production features 13 students in grades 6-12 and is directed by Andrea Robison. 

The 39 Steps, adapted by Patrick Barlow, is Broadway’s longest running comedy.  This Tony-award winning play showcases a mix-up of the Hitchcock masterpiece, a juicy spy novel and a dash of Monty Python.  With nonstop laughs, over 100 zany characters, handcuffs, and missing fingers, this fast-paced whodunit is for anyone who loves the magic of theatre.

Students have been working very hard to put together this exciting and riotous virtuoso of performances.  The wildly inventive stagecraft presented in the sets, costumes, and technical elements were created by students in Allen Academy’s technical theatre classes. 

Tickets are available at the door and cost $8 for adults and $5 for students.  Again, performances will be held on Friday, November 4^th and Saturday, November 5^th at 7:00 PM at the Wakefield Activity Center at Allen Academy.  Allen Academy is located at 3201 Boonville in Bryan.
