Allen Academy provides a rigorous and superior education
in the humanities, arts, and sciences for students
in Pre-Kindergarten through twelfth grade. It
compels the student to explore and examine a recognized
body of scholarship that prepares the individual
for life as an informed citizen.
The educational experience is structured to develop
a mastery of subject matter as well as a life
long love of learning. Underlying this mission
is the intention to cultivate both the mind and
spirit of each student.
Accordingly, the Allen
experience includes the development of moral fiber
and an awareness of values and viewpoints beyond
the self. Allen's mission statement anchors the
School's values of intellectual, aesthetic, social,
physical, and moral development. Students participate
daily in a multi-grade level advisory system where
an exploration of ethics, honor, and integrity
are presented. Students are asked to consider
life and all of its dilemmas in contemporary society
through Allen's curriculum, community service,
advisory program, and the faculty's role as stewards
of our mission.
