In addition to an intellectually rigorous academic program, students are required to participate in arts each day, as well as an athletic endeavor.
Full-Time Math Teacher 6th - 12th Grade & Coach - We are currently accepting applicants for a qualified 6th - 12th Grade Math Teacher and coach for the 2021-2022 school year. The position includes full-time teaching salary and coaching stipend(s) commensurate with experience. Coaching duties to be assigned include fall sixman football, winter basketball, and spring sport TBD. The ability to coach both middle school & varsity sports is ideal.
We are seeking candidates that care about student achievement in the classroom and athletics. Academically the candidate should be able to excel in their teaching fulfilling multiple math courses, while working well with colleagues and communicating with parents regularly to promote student success. The candidate should be interested in being a part of a competitive athletic department culture; focused on building relationships and character development through physical, mental, and emotional growth that translates in sports and life. Encouraging multi-sport participation and willingness to share student-athletes within the athletic department and fine arts is essential. Adhering to all rules and regulations set forth by Allen Academy and TAPPS is required.
The successful candidate will report to the Head of The Middle & Upper School and Athletic Director. Previous teaching or coaching experience is preferred but not required.
